SimToolbox is developed and published by Velocity Engineering Systems Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales (Company number: 13844709). In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to this entity.

2. Data Collection

SimToolbox does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not collect names, email addresses or any other personal identifiers.
• We do not collect usage analytics, diagnostics or crash reports.
• We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers or any other tracking technologies.
• We do not access your network or make any internet connections from within the app.
• We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses or location data.

3. Third-Party Services

SimToolbox does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking or data-processing services. No data is shared with any third party.

SimToolbox is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect data in connection with the App Store and your Apple ID account as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not control and are not responsible for Apple's data practices.

4. Your Rights

If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), respectively, including the right to withdraw consent, to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing and port your personal data.

Since SimToolbox does not collect or process any personal data, these rights do not apply in practice. There is no personal data for us to access, rectify, delete, restrict or transfer.

5. Data Retention

Since SimToolbox does not collect any data, there is no data to retain or delete. Any information the app reads from your local file system exists only in memory and is discarded when the app is closed.

SimToolbox is sandboxed using macOS App Sandbox technology and is distributed through the Mac App Store as a notarised, signed application. The app operates entirely offline and does not open any network connections, which eliminates the risk of data being intercepted or transmitted.

7. International Transfers

SimToolbox does not transfer any data — personal or otherwise — to any server, whether within the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or elsewhere. All processing is local to your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if we add new features that affect data handling. We encourage you to review this page periodically. If we ever introduce any form of data collection, we will update this policy before doing so and, where required by law, seek your consent.
